Walk down any beauty aisle of your local pharmacy or department store and you will find an overwhelming amount of skincare choices. They all look so pretty and are packaged to be appealing to the eye making it easy for you to empty your ENTIRE wallet at the cash register for these goodies.

However, have you ever truly thought about the ingredients in these products? I know we are told some of these products have a drop of this or that natural oil, but we are not told what all the other ingredients are nor what they can potentially do to us.

Going down the rabbit hole of natural living gave me a crash course on the questionable ingredients used in many of these marketed products. And no, I’m not just saying this. Studies have been done by several sources including the Environmental Working Group which show how specific chemicals can alter different aspects of the body.

My personal journey of getting my hormones on track led me to making the switch to all natural everything as much of the time as possible. I truly believe it was this along with a reduction of stress and change in diet helped not only helped me with my hormones in addition to increase my odds of getting pregnant…which I’ve succeeded at.

Once I finally committed to trying natural products to help get my hormones back on track, I noticed a variety of improvements in my skin’s tone and radiance. Plus, opting for all natural products doesn’t compromise your body and in many ways perform better than the chemical laden alternatives on the market.

When I attended this year’s Natural Products Expo East Conference in September, I was truly looking for some of the next best products and was lucky enough to connect with the company Hug Your Skin to try their line of Inlight Beauty natural and organic skincare.

Some of their products include a Floral Tonic, Cleanser, Face Oil and Food Mask. Check out my latest YouTube video below where I speak more on my experience on the switch to natural skincare products, my hormones, and Inlight Beauty Skincare Products.
