Is it me, or has this year been a doozy so far? If there were a time for some super happy sunshine tonic, this is it. Rasa’s Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic makes the promise to help reverse some of the blah-ness. Let’s see if it does.

Rasa Coffee Alternative Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic Review

Recently one of my favorite adaptogen coffee alternative brands Rasa released a very limited blend to help bring a little joy during this crazy time.

The Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic is carefully crafted to help our systems in supportive ways. It helps serotonin & dopamine, access sustainable energy, while slowing down to feel your feeling and expanding feelings of joy.

Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic “features the bright yellow flowers of helichrysum, sunny lemon balm, and the ethically-sourced succulent sceletium.” According to Rasa’s website:

“Sceletium has been traditionally used to help Sān warriors returning from battle to release the fear and tension carried from the battlefield.” This study shows through a clinical trial that sceletium was shown to feel better in general and improved coping skills in stressful situations.

The Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic is a very flavorful, bright, and refreshing blend that’s easy , (and pretty addictive), to drink. It smells absolutely delightful coming out the package.

This feel good tonic is also made with mucuna, lemon balm, rhodiola, and grains of paradise. All of these herbs and adaptogens are ones I’ve loved individually and used on regular basis. I’ve shared about my love and use of lemon balm in the post The Easy To Find Herb Tea I’ve Been Drinking To Calm Down.

HOW DOES IT TASTE THOUGH?!

I’ve been a long time Rasa Coffee Alternative lover. Though I’ve not completely quit coffee as much as I’ve tried, Rasa is one of my favorite non-coffee morning drinks.

At this point, I’ve tried almost all of their blends including the Original, Cacao (blended with chocolate), and Dirty (blended with coffee), and Bold (my favorite of the blends which is made to give the energy of caffeine without caffeine). They all have super clean and thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

But if someone asked me to choose 2 favorites of the bunch, I would have to say Bold and this Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic.

Both have a flavor profile that can be enjoyed by everyone. I say that because although I absolutely recommend all blends for someone looking for an easy way to incorporate adaptogens into their life to lower stress, some are a bit more herb-y tasting than others. This doesn’t bother me, but it could be a bit much for others not used to it.

Bold and Super Happy Sunshine are two I think anyone would love.

Super Happy Sunshine Joy Tonic might be the winner because it has such a pleasant citrusy taste to it. It could easily be the perfect addition to a hot summer day if iced. It is light but heavier than an herbal tea at the same time. It tickles the senses in the best way in my opinion. A total hit for the summer.

Rasa and all their blends have become a major part of my self care routine over the last couple of years. But, this new blend truly takes it all to a new level.

I would definitely tell anyone to grab a few bags of this blend before it disappears.
