To be clear, it’s not coffee made from olive oil, but hot coffee that has olive oil added to it. Olive oil coffee is a unique and trendy beverage that has gained popularity in recent years as a way to elevate and optimize one’s morning coffee.

In fact, Starbucks just recently announced a line of coffee drinks with Olive Oil that will be sold in their Italy stores, and later to the Unites States. If Starbucks coffee is adding it as one of their new beverages, it must be something special.

There are many different olive oil brands and types on the market. Unfortunately, there’s also a lot of oils out there claiming to be Olive Oil when they truly aren’t. Olive Oils that have known better taste and quality compared to others are Brightland (A recent Oprah’s favorite Thing), and Kosterina. The combination of olive oil (high quality of course), and coffee should result in a creamy texture and unique flavor. You could also go to your local grocery that sells great quality olive oil and ask for a list of their customer favorites.
