SuperHair By Moon Juice: Is It Really Worth It? (2023)

Moon Juice is one of the handful of wellness brands that’s damn near mainstream. It can be found in stores as well known as Free People, Anthropologie, and even some home decor stores.

Their line of supplements have become wildly popular. This includes the hair supplement SuperHair by Moon Juice.

I’ve shared about my love of adaptogens and some pros and cons when using them in this blog post all about adaptogens.

I’ve purchased a good amount of Moon Juice products over the last couple of years and truly applaud them for their quality. Moon Juice’s Ashwagandha is one of my favorite because it is so potent. Yes, you can find others on the market for cheaper, but if you have to use a lot of a cheaper product to make it beneficial, are you really saving money? Does moon juice super hair work? Why aren’t there more realistic moon juice hair reviews? Even if it’s to figure out if it’s worth it buy in the first place?

Their Moon Dusts are fun and an easy way to incorporate adaptogenic blends into your day without going broke sourcing and purchasing individual herbs.

However, their ” Super” line of multivitamins checks off a lot of boxes for wellness minded folks. By combining their adaptogenic herbs and high quality vitamins & minerals usually taken on a daily basis into one pill, their $60-ish vitamins kind of sound like a good idea. BUT $60!

Yes, it was the price tag that made me wait on trying them out too. But, after thinking about it for a while, I took the plunge and bought them.

While this is not a Moon Juice Hair Growth Review (Yet), here’s why I decided to buy SuperHair in the long run:

The Quality of the Ingredients

As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been a fan of Moon Juice for some years. They have yet to disappoint with any of the products I’ve ordered or tried. So, when I looked at the list of ingredients, I wasn’t at all surprised at how clean they were. I lot of supplements at lower price points have synthetic and questionable ingredients, if they even disclose the full list of it’s contents at all.

In addition, the SuperHair blend had minerals and vitamins I have been including into my regimen. This includes iron, vitamin A & C, Kelp, and Zinc. I thought this was pretty unique since this combination isn’t always easy to find. However, I will get more into my “why” behind this in #3.

The Addition of Adaptogens

Adaptogens have been around for a long time. Some would even say the commercialization of certain adaptogens by the wellness community is borderline inappropriate and low-key cultural appropriation depending on who you ask. Either way, they are here to stay. Hell, I’ve even seen them in the supplement aisles in CVS so you know it’s A THING.

The addition of high quality adaptogens in their blends is great for those trying to fit all the powders and vitamins in their day, but life gets in the way. Although I’ve only been taking the SuperHair vitamins for about 2 weeks, I love not having to worry about if I’ve added ashwaghanda into my day. It’s already in there! Plus, they use their reformulated 15:1 higher potency formula in the capsules. I absolutely think that makes it worth the money if you’re already open to spending it.

It’s Cheaper Than Buying Multiple Products

As I came to the bottom of my list of reasons to spend the $60 on these SuperHair vitamins, the last one sealed the deal. While looking at the prices of supplements and adaptogenic powders I try to include in my everyday routine, I realized I was spending more than $60 per month. Between my iron supplements to help with anemia, adaptogens, vitamin c, zinc, and a multivitamin to supplement my diet, lower my stress levels, and support my immune system, I was well over the $50-ish threshold.

So, I decided to get them.

I signed up for the monthly subscription so I could save 10% making it $54. I also joined their rewards program. You can earn points for each purchase and use them for select rewards including travel sized versions of their other vitamins and their Moon dusts. You can get 20% off your first purchase over $50 by using this link shared to me by their rewards program. However, there are many moon juice retailers out there.

It’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve started taking the SuperHair vitamins and while it’s too early to do a full review, I can say I am pleased with them. I can certainly tell the adaptogens included in them are on par with their other products. I surely feel calmer through the day. I’ve tried some other products that include ashwaghanda and they do not compare, at least not in capsule form.

So, if you’re on the fence about trying the Super Hair Multivitamins, use this list of pros to help in your decision process. Let me know if this helps.
